Easter was in full swing in NYC on Sunday, April 5, 2015 and many people dressed up for the celebration. I have read online that there was a celebration and people wear festive hats. However, I did not realize that all of Fifth Avenue was closed and people were dressed up to the nines.
I ran into a crowd taking photos of a 1920s jazz band and couples dancing to the music. Literally, you can feel like you are back in time and even in the women were dressed glamorously. It was divine and when I walked passed by the dancing crowd; all on Fifth Avenue was filled with festive attire. There were two men, one had an Easter basket as his hat and the other had a classic top hat that matched his dapper suit. Also, there were a group of men dressed up in Mad Men attire and it was perfect because Sunday was the premiere of the final episodes of the show.
